CTW is a private company. Ariel Malik, its founder, is the founder or co-founder of close to 20 companies including Pluristem (NASDAQ:PSTI) that was license from the Technion in Israel, Oramed Pharma (NASDAQ:ORMP) – licensed from Hadasa hospital in Israel, Brainstorm Cells (NASDAQ:BCLI) and Savicell Diagnostics – both licensed from Tel- Aviv University. Other breakthrough technology companies that were built around academic technologies licensed from different universities.
CTW'S Companies were incubate around the patents and research of Professor James Tour. 8 companies were established – Weebit Nano (ASX:WBT), Dotz Nano (ASX:DTZ), Neurocords Ltd, Nanorobotics Ltd, Universal Matters Inc, LIGC Ltd , H2Blue Ltd and Xerient Ltd. All founded and incubated around those technologies.
The main shareholder of CTW, Ariel Malik, is also a partner in two Israeli Holding companies ( ex-incubators) – L.N Technology in Haifa which specializes in CleanTech and Materials and Trendlines Group which is mainly in medical devices (listed on Singapore SGX: 42T).
Malik has contributed greatly to the development of the Israeli high-tech and energy industry. He is responsible for promoting transactions with venture funds and foreign investment companies that have invested in Israeli businesses and startups. One of his most notable achievements is the acquisition "Paradigm Geophysical" by the Fox Paine Fund.
